This artwork is a part of a series for my new exhibition "Invisible Icons" is a deeply personal project that seeks to honor and revive the legacy of women artists who have been marginalized throughout art history. These women, often underestimated and excluded from mainstream narratives, have had a profound impact on the art world. Through this exhibition, I aim to bring their faces and stories to the forefront, offering them the recognition and respect they have long deserved.

By working on portraits of women artists who were marginalized in art history but whose value has been recognized years later, I aimed to create an exhibition that not only paves the way for contemporary women artists but also defines their perspectives, conveys their philosophies, and allows us to reconnect with them.

In this piece we see an impressionist artist Mary Cassatt who often created images of the social and private lives of women, with particular emphasis on the intimate bonds between mothers and children.
