Kübra Köprülüoğlu Aşanlı (b. 1984, Turkey) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work navigates the intersections of identity, nature, and humanity through contemporary portraiture and visual narratives. After completing her studies in Graphic Design at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, she built a long professional background in design and ecological practice. Since 2024, her artistic production has become more visible through exhibitions and international platforms, developing in parallel with her ongoing interdisciplinary work.
Before focusing on art, Kübra co-founded a multidisciplinary ecological design studio, Harmonia, rooted in regenerative practice and ecological education in Kazdağları, Turkey, where she has applied creative thinking to both design and environmental awareness for over a decade.
Her recent artistic work, presented internationally including at Making The Invisible Visible in Seoul and other group exhibitions, explores deeply layered connections between human identity, memory, and the natural world. Through portraiture of humans, animals, and symbolic figures, she investigates how cultural heritage and ecological belonging inform our sense of self and shared histories.
A central concern of her practice is gender identity and women’s place in history, seen in projects that bring forward overlooked women’s legacies and perspectives within art and culture. She employs a broad visual vocabulary — including digital painting, print, collage, and mixed media — to create immersive experiences that move beyond observation to evoke emotional and intellectual engagement.
